He was Born with the Blues

Garry Meziere is an award winning guitarist living in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Oregon. His career has spanned over 25 years playing clubs and festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest. Garry is also recognized and well respected as one of the best guitar instructors in the area.

Garry joined forces with power house vocalist Ellen Whyte in 1995. A formidable writing partnership that led to four award winning CDs, two Grammy nominations and seven Muddy Awards from the Cascade Blues Association.

Garry continues to perform and teach. He is currently working with the Ellen Whyte Band, Ivie Meziere Foss Trio, Joanne Broh Band, Ted Vaughn Blues Band, the Acoustic Dead Band (a four piece Grateful Dead cover band) and occasional guest spots with the Rae Gordon Band.

Garry Meziere’s lead guitar is the equal of anything you will ever hear. He is equally comfortable with ringing, bell-like blues leads, with soaring rock solos, and tasty jazz improvisation.
